ABOUT THIS PROJECT
USU Extension received a grant to educate novice gardeners on the advantages and methods of permaculture gardening. To achieve this goal, a team composed of myself and another videographer were assigned to create an online learning series for a permaculture course. Our primary objective was to produce a comprehensive and engaging course that would help beginners understand and apply permaculture principles to their gardening practices.
Creating the permaculture course involved several challenges. To ensure its comprehensiveness, we had to coordinate months ahead of time to schedule filming sessions with various experts in permaculture across the state. We spent several days traveling and filming the experts in their gardens and farms. Through our hard work and collaboration, we were able to produce an online permaculture course that teaches amateur gardeners how to incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly practices into their gardening practices.
